February 25, 2025 — The Erik Jones Foundation (EJF) is proud to announce the distribution of $85,000 in grants and donations to 15 organizations across the United States. This funding supports EJF’s three foundational pillars: igniting children’s passion for reading, encouraging early cancer detection and care, and promoting animal welfare. With this announcement, the foundation has surpassed $100,000 in grantmaking and charitable contributions in the past year.
The grants ranged in size from $20,000 to the Hurley Foundation in Flint, Michigan, to a $300 request made by a small animal shelter in South Carolina. These impactful grants and others demonstrate the foundation’s commitment to addressing critical community needs through meaningful partnerships and support. “Giving out these grants is the most rewarding part of our year at the Erik Jones Foundation,” said Erik Jones, NASCAR driver and founder of EJF. “Knowing we can make a difference for so many organizations and communities is incredibly fulfilling. I’m proud of our work and look forward to growing the amount we give away each year.”

The $85,000 in funding will be allocated as follows:
Cancer Detection and Care: $62,000
Animal Welfare: $12,800 Children’s Literacy: $9,000
This distribution underscores EJF’s commitment to changing lives through literacy, health advocacy, and animal care. The foundation seeks to leave a lasting impact on communities across the United States through grantmaking, direct-to-individual programs, and initiatives.
